The best of the best in film and television will be honored only hours away at the 2014 Critics Choice Awards on Thursday, January 16, 2014. Aisha Tyler will host the event live from the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport. The awards show is honoring the finest achievements in 2013 filmmaking, where it will be broadcast on The CW at 8PM EST. The Critics’ Choice Movie Awards are bestowed annually by the BFCA to honor the finest in cinematic achievement. There will lots of great A-list stars who will present for at the awards night, so don't miss it.

The Broadcast Film Critics Association also announced yesterday they will be honoring Forest Whitaker with the Joel Siegel Award, bestowed to one who uses their celebrity as a platform to do good work for others.
